Zizi Kodwa has resigns as MPL

The African National Congress Secretary General (ANCSG) Fikile Mbalula has wished Zizi Kodwa well following his resignation as member of parliament with immediate effect.

He was sowrn in Parliament together with the MK Party members on 24 June where he told the media that it was up to the ANC to decide on his fate.

Kodwa resigned as Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture as he is facing bribery charges with an EOH former boss Jehan Mackay.

In a letter dated 24 July addressed to the ANC Secretary-General, Fikile Mbalula, Kodwa thanked the ANC for the privilege and honour to serve the nation as a public representative on behalf of the ANC.

Meanwhile, ANC Veteran Snuki Zikalala has said Kodwa’s appointment was unfortunate as he is facing bribery charges.
