The South African National Taxi Council (Santaco) Secretary in Ugu District, Richard Mchunu has told VM Radio that his organisation hopes that MEC for Transport and Human Settlements in KZN Siboniso Duma will keep his word and resolve their issues following his intervention which led to a two-day strike being called off in the district.
A week ago, Ugu District taxi operators brought everything to a stand still following their grievances pertaining from Operation Shanela issues.
