The province of KwaZulu-Natal, led by King Misuzulu ka Zwelithini remembered the victory in the Battle of Isandlwana in Nquthu on Wednesday, 22 January 2025.
The battle, led by King Cetshwayo “uJininindi omnyama” kaMpande is a historical battle, which was part of the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879. On 22 January 1879, the Zulu army won victory over the British forces during the celebrated Impi yaseSandlwana.
The King is expected to address the 146th anniversary of the battle to thousands of people on the Isandlwana Mountain.
