Noah will host the awards for the fifth year in a row and will also be a producer for the show. As announced, the music awards will take place on Sunday the 2nd of February 2025 at the Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles.Noah continues to take South Africa to the world; flying our flag high through his many accolades such as winning two Primetime Emmy awards and being hounored with the prestigious Dutch Erasmus Prize in 2023. He has also received commendable feedback from his audience.The Grammy Awards come a long way of humble beginnings and are now one of the esteemed music awards. This year’s ceremony will focus on raising funds to support relief efforts for the California wildfire victims.“This year’s ceremony carries a renewed sense of purpose, with additional efforts to support wildfire relief initiatives and honouring the bravery and dedication of first responders who risk their lives to protect ours,” the organisers said in a statement.

Former Springbok coach turned politician

Former Springboks coach Peter De Villiers has been officially welcomed into the uMkhonto WeSizwe Party (MKP) by the party’s Deputy President Dr. John Hlophe at a ceremony this week. De Villiers was previously a member of Partricia De Lille’s GOOD party before being kicked out after allegations of sexual misconduct in march, 2024.The decision to join a predominantly black party has attracted criticism for De Villiers. In an interview, Hlophe stated that the MKP allows freedom of participation regardless of skin colour. I am convinced the MKP will grow. We are here to make real and meaningful participation. The former Springboks coach expressed his enthusiasm about joining the party. He also stated that he will use his sports experience in his new political home. As a Springboks coach, I had the opportunity to allow people to think for themselves, to act and to make the country proud Hlophe said that the MKP is excited to have De Villiers and they are confident in his leadership capabilities.
